Aims And Objectives
- To improve the quality of life of people who have speech, language and communication difficulties resulting from stroke by the following means:-
- Providing therapeutic activities for communication difficulties,
including use of gesture, drawing, reading and writing as well
as speech
- Encouraging social participation
- Offering peer support
- Working on cognitive skills such as concentration, memory
and perception
- Sharing information about the effects of stroke
- To raise funds used for financing these activities and to meet other requirements
- To promote and maintain close relationships with all persons, including relatives of members, and organisations interested in stroke survivors and their welfare.
